1. Besatsu Olympia Kyklos

Sounds odd? Well, that actually explains how exciting the storyline is. The cartoon tells the story of an ancient Greek vase painter who has fallen victim to unusual circumstances and to save himself he does the best he can; hide himself in a large vase. Thanks to divine intervention, a lighting strike transports him to 1964 Tokyo, which is also the venue for the Olympic games that year. This anime reminds us of the 2012 Japanese film Thermae Romae where an ancient Roman is transported to modern day Japan only to see the advancements in bathroom technology. The main premise behind these time travel movies is more of a thought experiment to see how would the ancients react had they time traveled to modern day Japan.
